“WORDS”
Words can make fools heroes and heroes fools,
Pack people together in schools,
‘Been said that a picture paints a thousand words,
But who could ever count all the words that exist for and because of you,
You are an original that can only be copied…one and only one…never two,
This keyboard anxiously and hopefully seeking,
From all the vast resources of my knowledge,
From kindergarten to my distinguished preppy college,
Of the right words to make your heart skip a beat,
Making certain that your lips will not be laughing,
Pondering what to say to make the impossible cut,
Of a leading role in your wildest dreams…a seemingly hopeless feat,
No longer silent all the words that my heart girds,
What words can describe this feeling that's O' so pure,
Because of cliché’s the truth is hidden somewhat,
I dare not say that I have seen you before with grandeur,
Or that I have seen you friends too,
My head spins wildly though I’m sober,
I’m drunk in a stupor, lost in déjà vu,
How amusing this would be if no feelings are felt,
To watch a clown lay it all on the line,
As you watch my lonely heart melt,
So I delay my words waiting patiently for the right time,
Squirming while fidgeting I feel helpless I have found
That no matter how brilliant or witty they may sound,
What could I possible do or give you to make you feel as I do,
I become a child,
Curious and trusting yet unable to tear away my eyes,
From the soft hypnotic rays pouring from the sparkling blue,
Gemstones clustered together in a clear cool spring that is you,
Again I’m a child,
I’m excited; I’m scared, I’m happy, I’m sad how did this come about,
What were the words you spoke that conquered this mighty man,
What do you know that I do not know,
At times like these the words are never there and I’m left in doubt,
And I depend on you to listen to my heart or I’m done,
Listen with your heart and you will hear mine call,
And Listen through mine eyes and the words that they show,
Regressing to the infant that I really am,
All words that I know blend into one,
And I’m unable to utter it to save being absurd,
The first and the last,
An original as thou unmatched and standing tall,
Used by many in the future, present and past,
For all try to describe it, enhance it, duplicate it or replace it…love is the word.

Re: "Words" What are the words will you say to the person of your dreams?
Thu, October 22, 2009 - 8:28 AMsome such depends
on available or not
timing and the set
setting for two
in a crowed room
or universe with so much expanding space
left behind the next horizon
sliding
to.
meet you at the corner around half past eight. -
