What a fool I was to hold on to you for so long
What a fool i was to dream of us together,
holding hands and spending time together
with each other,
What a fool to worry about being with you,
...a fool to disclose myself to you and fight my own boundaries!

All this time, energy and worry for nothing
As usual I am on the loosing end
I have lost him and a part of myself with him

I am left confused and conflicted
Unsure of what all this means
Unsure of how I have evolved
and the lessons to be learned
through personal evolution

Unhopeful of the future
and the love it may never bring

What a love hungry fool I have been!
